Sixteen Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools, being the foundation and testing site for innovation and better international practices in the teaching and learning activities in high schools of Kazakhstan, have been opened in the country on behalf of the Head of the State.
On the eve of the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan creative young participants wrote essays about the formation of Kazakhstan’s Independence, Nursultan Nazarbayev's role in the formation and national development and promotion of "Mangilik El" national patriotic ideas.
During the meeting, the Secretary of State Gulshara Abdykalikova told the students about the President‘s responsible and difficult work. She stressed that the President of Kazakhstan always takes care of children. As the President said, "Education of children is a huge investment in the future. We should approach this issue in this way, and strive to give our children the best education."
In turn, top pupils of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Almaty told about their feelings after visiting the President's residence "Ak Orda", expressed admiration for Astana and shared their plans for the future.
At the end of the meeting the Secretary of State wished the schoolchildren academic achievements, setting the example for their peers and making a reality of their wildest dreams.
