During the meeting, the Head of State was presented the report on Samruk-Kazyna JSC activities following the results of 2018 and information on plans as part ofactualizing the Fund’s Development Strategy.
The President of Kazakhstan noted a positive trend in key performance indicators of Samruk-Kazyna JSC.
- In general, the results achieved are very good compared to previous years. All companies of the Fund closed the year with the black, the proceeds are on the rise. In addition, the purposed optimization of the fund management levels was carried out, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
A.Yesimov has also reported to the Head of State on privatization of the Fund’s assets, plans to bring Kazakhtelecom and Air Astana to an IPO, as well as participation of Samruk-Kazyna JSC in financing the construction of the Saryarka gas pipeline.
At the end of the meeting, the President of Kazakhstan gave a number of specific instructions.
