During the meeting, the Head of State presented reports on the region’s socio-economic development and the preparations for the Summit of the heads of the Caspian states.
The President of Kazakhstan pointed to the need to carefully study the Summit's organizational issues.
- It is planned to hold a summit of the heads of the Caspian states in Aktau, with participation of the heads and delegations from five countries. It is necessary to work out all the organizational issues of the forthcoming meeting, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
In addition, Eraly Tugzhanov reported on the progress of implementation of state and sectoral programs in the sphere of development of production, construction, agriculture, as well as attracting investments.
- There is an increase in basic economic indicators. All tasks set by you are being carried out. At the end of 2017, the region’s production volume has reached 100.1%, akim of Mangistau region said.
Following the meeting, the Head of State has given a number of specific instructions.
