During the meeting, the Head of State emphasized the progressive nature of the Kazakh-Russian strategic partnership and alliance, as well as noted the contribution of the Russian Embassy in Kazakhstan to the delopment of friendly relations between the two nations.
In turn, Alexey Borodavkin conveyed to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulations of the Russian President Vladimir Putin on assuming the office of President of Kazakhstan, and also assured that he would make every effort to further strengthen the fruitful interstate cooperation.
In addition, the sides discussed the agenda of the upcoming official visit of the Head of State to the Russian Federation.
