At the meeting, Santiago Calatrava has thanked Nursultan Nazarbayev for the chance to visit Kazakhstan and get to know the capital city’s architecture.
The Kazakh leader noted that Astana is famous not only for its unique architecture and for comfortable living conditions, but for its unique atmosphere as well.
- More and more people are striving to live in the capital city; its population is approaching one million people. Next year we will celebrate Astana’s 20th anniversary, the President of Kazakhstan said.
