During the meeting the sides discussed issues of strengthening bilateral relations in trade, economic, financial, investment, petrochemical, and cultural spheres.
Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that Kazakhstan feels the support of Saudi Arabia since the first days of its independence.
The President drew attention to the fruitful cooperation between the two countries in various fields, stressing the need to further strengthen economic cooperation. He also noted the similarity of the strategic goals of the two states, which are laid down in the long-term development plans of Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia.
Adel Al Jubeir, in turn, reaffirmed the importance of mutual efforts to further strengthen the relations between Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia.
In addition, Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister drew attention to the important role of our country in the development of the Islamic world.
