During the meeting President Nursultan Nazarbayev was briefed on the results of the Foundation’s activity in 2015, as well as over the first five months of the current year and the ongoing and future projects.
Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that the Foundation needs to rise to a brand new level in its development.
The key direction of the Foundation’s work is the scientific one. The scientific area is of paramount importance, including cooperation with internationally renowned experts in politics, economics, international relations and security,” he said.
The President stressed that it is important to work out recommendations on the most topical issues of the country’s development within the framework of the Foundation’s research activity.
Nursultan Nazarbayev also said the organisation greatly contributes to the solution of social problems.
Executive Director of the Foundation Sagyndyk Nurakhanov reported on the events organized in order to support young researchers, socially-oriented projects and charity.
