The meeting discussed topical security issues, taking into account global factors, as well as the current state of forces and facilities of responding to emergencies of natural and techno genic nature.
- Today we are going to discuss mobilization preparation of the country and readiness to respond to various emergency situations. The issue of further strengthening the role and status of the Security Council of Kazakhstan will also be taken into consideration, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
During the meeting, the President of Kazakhstan separately thanked the employees of law enforcement and special bodies for the quality security assurance of the international exhibition EXPO 2017.
Following the meeting, the Head of State has given a number of specific instructions.
