The Head of the State with deep sorrow has learned of the deadly apartment building’s staircase collapse in Shahan settlement of Karaganda region.
Nursultan Nazarbayev extends his heartfelt condolences to the family members of the victims and wishes speedy recovery to the injured.
The Kazakh President has instructed the Akim of Karaganda region, as well as competent public bodies to take urgent measures to provide full assistance to all affected apartment dwellers, and investigate into the causes of the emergency event.
