The Head of State greeted Steve Wozniak and thanked him for his participation in the Astana Economic Forum, and noted his meaningful and topical speech at the plenary session.
Nursultan Nazarbayev pointed out that the reason for emergence of crypto-currencies not controlled by emission centres is domination of one currency in the world. At the same time, the Head of State stressed that Kazakhstan uses other currencies alongside with the national one.
In his turn Steve Wozniak thanked the President of Kazakhstan for the chance to take part in such a high event and share his opinion on global challenges.
- Currencies have never been universal in contrast to, for example, wireless communications. On the other hand, the great advantage of crypto currency lies in the fact that it is not controlled; they do not restrain in development and become universal and global, the head of the company said.
During the meeting, the parties discussed separate issues of digitalization and prospects for the development of crypto-currency.
