During the meeting, Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed appreciation to Danilo Türk for his participation in Astana Club’s meeting.
For his part, Danilo Turk thanked the Head of State for the opportunity to revisit our country and spoke about the productive character of cooperation during the past visits to the capital of Kazakhstan.
The former President of the Republic of Slovenia underscored the importance of holding peace talks on Syria within the framework of Astana process, and drew attention to Kazakhstan’s active participation in the work of international organizations, including the UN Security Council.
