The sides discussed the pressing matters of Kazakhstan’s cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank.
Nursultan Nazarbayev made it clear that the IDB had greatly contributed to consolidation of our economy and raising the well-being of the people.
- Actually we are establishing "Astana" international financial center. I am confident that the Islamic Development Bank will take part in its activities, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
During the meeting the sides noted that the total amount of the Bank and Kazakhstan’s joint projects is over 1.3 billion dollars. In 2015 the Bank approved 4 projects amounting to 665 million dollars.
In his turn, Bandar bin Mohammed Hajjar expressed his hope for continued successful cooperation with our country and the Bank's contribution to the projects focused on the progress of Kazakhstan's economy.
