In compliance with the provision of Para 1 of Article 61, Constitution of Kazakhstan, the Head of State has submitted to the Majilis of Kazakhstan’s Parliament the drafts of Constitutional Law of Kazakhstan "Concerning Introduction of Amendments and Additions to the Constitutional Law of Kazakhstan "On Judicial System and Status of Judges of Kazakhstan” and the Law of Kazakhstan “Concerning Introduction of Amendments and Additions to the Constitutional Law of Kazakhstan to some legislative acts of Kazakhstan on the judicial system modernization”.
The draft laws were developed for implementing the Address of the President of Kazakhstan to Kazakhstan’s nation dated October 5, 2018 and provide for amendments aimed at modernizing the judicial system, qualitatively updating the judicial personnel and institutional strengthening of the Supreme Judicial Council.
