On March 6, 2017 Kazakhstan’s Parliament adopted and presented to the Head of State to be signed "On Amendments and Additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan" Law.
Nursultan Nazarbayev, in accordance with the Constitution’s Article 72, applied to the Constitutional Council for a review of the Act to ensure its conformity to the values and fundamental principles of activity and form of the state government established by the Constitution.
