During the meeting the cooperation issues were under consideration in the framework of creating Astana international financial center.
The Head of state stressed the high importance of the visit, as well as the value of Hong Kong's experience in the financial, technological and innovative areas.
- Your experience for us is crucial as Hong Kong is one of the world's leading financial centers. Currently we are at a formative stage. On the whole, our cooperation is in line with the good relations between Kazakhstan and China, said the President of Kazakhstan.
In turn John Tsang thanked Nursultan Nazarbayev for warm reception and noted the success of the previous talks.
- Strong partnership between Kazakhstan and China are the basis for our cooperation. Our delegation includes about 20 representatives of business circles. We have held productive talks with the Kazakh side, during which mutual understanding was reached on all the issues of the discussed agenda, J.Tsang said.
In addition, Hong Kong's finance minister said he was deeply impressed by communication with Nazarbayev University students.
In conclusion, the Head of State and John Tsang expressed confidence in further fruitful cooperation between Kazakhstan and Hong Kong.
