Nursultan Nazarbayev got acquainted with the activity of the enterprise for agricultural crops production.
Head of State was informed about the course of harvesting, the main indicators of the agro-industrial complex of the region and the measures taken for its further development.
During the visit the President of Kazakhstan was presented samples of agricultural machinery manufactured by enterprises of North Kazakhstan region.
Nursultan Nazarbayev also held talks with the machine operators and representatives of the leading agricultural companies in the area. The meeting marked a positive change in the industry that occurred during the years of independence.
- Your farm business proved that North Kazakhstan region can not only be a mono-grain area. Full range of oil-bearing crops does well in this soil. To date all the challenging issues have been settled. Now it is essential that you enhance productivity and quality of crops, said the Head of State.
In turn, the farmers thanked the President of Kazakhstan for the support and effective public policies in the agricultural sector.
